Career Summary

Andy Widman is a commercial real estate professional focused on helping clients find the right place for their business or service. With a background rooted in both commercial real estate and architecture, he helps businesses and service providers identify the spaces that best support their growth. Andy’s combined market knowledge and architectural expertise allow him to deliver practical, well-informed solutions for tenants, owners, and investors. With over three years of experience and a strong foundation in office BOMA calculations and space measurement standards, he brings precision and clarity to every real estate transaction.

Background and Experience

Nebraska native, Andy earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. After becoming a licensed architect, he served as president of a local full-service architecture and design firm, where he oversaw projects from concept through completion. This hands-on experience in design and construction has become an invaluable asset in his real estate career, allowing him to bridge the gap between brokerage and building.

In his more than three years in commercial real estate, Andy has been active across multiple property types, with deep involvement in the office arena. Notably, he played a key role in helping revitalize the historic Federal Trust Building in downtown Lincoln, working alongside the Nebraska Hospital Association to reimagine their office space. His ability to quickly assess building conditions, navigate city codes, and discuss space planning from an architect’s perspective has proven to be a differentiator when engaging potential tenants and evaluating opportunities.
